Description: Not far from Martonyi, deep in the forest, on a small rise stand the ruins of the former monastery of the Hungarian Pálos order. The monastery was built in 1347 in Gothic style. The three altars of the sanctuary of the church dedicated to the Blessed Virgin were consecrated in 1411 by János, auxiliary bishop of Eger. Around the same time as other monasteries in the area, around 1550 it became uninhabitable during the Turkish invasions.
