From Schnalstal in South Tyrol this tour to Mastaunspitze starts.
Via Mastaunhof and Mastaun Alm one reaches the beautiful Mastauntal and the springs. Over scree up to Mastaunjoch, then pathless to the ridge and further over demanding terrain to the main summit. Descent via the same route mixed with easy climbing sections. Nice tour away from crowds.
