Description:
For many hillwalkers or mountaineers who take easier routes, the Allalinhorn via normal route is the first or one of the first 4000ers and a wonderful experience. The glacier is melting, crevasses open more and faster, seracs become more impressive, but thus the route becomes objectively more demanding - no longer recommended for soloists! With the right people on rope it's still an imposing tour to a particularly beautiful viewpoint summit. This film just tries to convey some impressions - nothing special for the alpinists among YouTube viewers, not spectacular either; but for the 'hillwalker' perhaps informative 8 minutes.
