One of the most beautiful via ferratas in the Dolomites.
The Mesules Via Ferrata is rated as difficult. It is very exposed, especially in the first part where the greatest difficulties are found. The second part is significantly less demanding. For the return, we chose the shortcut: below Piz Miara, take a right unmarked trail leading to Val Lasties and return trail no. 647. This avoids much of the plateau traverse without passing Forcella d'Antersass (about 1.5 hours in time).
