Description:
Mondolè 2382m, the mountain representing the city of Mondovì. It is located in the monregalesi valleys, between the Maudagna, Ellero and Corsaglia valleys. The summit is at the junction of the municipal territories of Frabosa Sottana, Magliano Alpi and Roccaforte Mondovì. It is a rounded mountain that slopes gently from the summit in almost all directions, except to the north, where it has steep walls. The mountain's body is made of Cretaceous limestones with significant karstification. On the northern walls, Triassic quartzites and quartzitic schists outcrop.
