© CLAUDIO MORTINI™◊ From Courmayeur ascending the Val Veny, the excursion begins on dirt road, taking the road leading to Lago Combal 1972m. From here there is a beautiful view of the plateau towards Rifugio Elisabetta and the mountains on the border with France. Turning left and climbing along a path, in a short time you reach Lago di Miage 2020m. The lake appears divided into various basins due to the low water level, including one in direct contact with the Miage glacier descending from Monte Bianco.
