Mount Cimone is an imposing mountain located between Forca del Fossal and Forca di Vandul. It has only one accessible side to the east while to the north and west it drops with sheer walls. The summit, a magnificent balcony overlooking Montasio, can be reached via the Alta Via (CAI trail no. 621) ascending Livinal di Vandul or through the subsequent Vallone de la Viene.
