The ascent to Monte Caviojo from Arsiero and then the visit to the nearby ossuary of Monte Cimone is one of the hikes richest in history and charm in Val d'Astico (province of Vicenza). Start from Chiesetta di San Rocco, reached by passing the inhabited center of Arsiero following the road to Laghi and Posina. After leaving the car near locality Piaggio (there are not many parking spots), after visiting the splendid little church take path number 541. Initially the trail runs through dense woods and rises quite quickly. The trail shifts toward North-East and after passing a rocky strip overlooks Arsiero offering a beautiful panorama on the large village of Val d'Astico and Monte Summano. After passing an exposed section but with an easy and very wide trail, and some galleries, trail 541 joins path 542.
