Monte Ferrantino is the younger brother, both in altitude and mountain beauty, of the more attractive and frequented Monte Ferrante. It lies between Valle di Scalve and Valzurio and lends itself to an easy winter ascent even with a good amount of well-consolidated snow, except in strong wind conditions as we experienced.
