Description:
The trail starts from Croce di Marone m. 1164, reached by car by turning right at Cislano onto a narrow road; once parked, proceed along a track; at the first hairpin bend, go straight on a steep rocky mule track that leads more quickly to Rifugio Malpensata; continue on a steep path marked with white-blue 3V signs that crosses a wood and greatly shortens the route compared to the track. Proceed on a grassy false flat where the summit of Monte Guglielmo begins to appear and reach Malga Guglielmo di Sotto. Follow the path that climbs, crosses pastures, and rejoins the track that initially borders a low wall up to Malga Guglielmo di Sopra. From here, proceed briefly along the track and, turning left, resume the path to Rifugio Almici m. 1865, from where continuing reach Monte Guglielmo m. 1948. Return to Croce di Marone following the track.
