Everything starts from Baita della Polenta, absolute solo trip and partial trail breaking to the Meidassa summit 3105m. Snow scarcity made the ascent very difficult, but the worst was the descent at night below the 2820m casermetta (buco del viso), absolute and precise orientation among the still visible scree...(and a long story). Monte Meidassa (3105 m) is a truncated summit located near Monte Granero (3171 m), on the border between Valle Po and Val Pellice. Located north of Monviso (3841 m), it offers splendid views of the entire Monviso chain on clear days.
