Description of the ascent:

From the Narro parking lot, leave the asphalt road on the left and proceed right along Via Centrale in the old village core. At the beginning of this lane, note a covered fountain and a little chapel above. Climb left of the chapel between narrow houses for about eighty meters to the junction with Via ai Monti branching left. Continue along this lane that takes us to the upper edge of the houses and becomes a mule track. Shortly after, cross the asphalt road to Alpe Giumello, follow it briefly and at the first hairpin, following a sign, turn right onto the mule track that climbs long through the woods. Reaching Monte Basso, cross the road again leading to the Monte Basso refreshment. Here, climb the ramp right of the refreshment then zigzag between houses to reach the road again. Another short stretch on asphalt then at a hairpin continue right on the mule track indicated by a sign. Enter the woods again for a good stretch with numerous turns, then cross the road for the last time. Now just cross it and on the opposite side, following a sign and still on mule track, reach Rifugio Capanna Vittoria. Fifty meters above the refuge to the right there is a large parking lot where the asphalt road arrives. In the meadows above the parking, faint tracks point to the lower part of a birch grove (see third detail image). Then the track becomes more evident and traverses E to W the entire grassy slope of the mountain. Beyond the grove pass under the lift cables, then at the upper edge of a conifer wood and higher arrive at a saddle on the W ridge, a short distance from the fore-summit (1754 m). Worth reaching, the view of Lake Como is much more extensive than from the summit. Back to the saddle, continue on the path of the grassy and easy W ridge to the top without difficulty.
