Simple MTB itinerary with a somewhat demanding ascent but beautiful panoramas and surrounding environment; visit to Grotte del Caglieron.
Parked the car in the Grotte del Caglieron parking lot, paid parking 2euro/hour; climb towards Borgo Piai and shortly after the ascent begins. The road is mostly compact dirt and concrete, no technical difficulties. However the ascent is quite steep about 10% and doesn't let up, some sections even steeper. Shortly after the San Floriano church, another few km, one reaches the road leading up to Monte Pizzoc. This section is all asphalted up to the top in the plain.
