Six days of ski mountaineering on the snows of Monte Rosa to reach with skis the summits of Europe's second highest mountain: starting from Breuil-Cervinia via Plateau Rosa to Breithorn Occidentale, Breithorn Centrale, Castor, Rif. Quintino Sella, Colle di Bettolina, Vallone di Salza, Colle di Salza, Punta Alta Luce / Hochlicht, Rifugio Città di Mantova, Capanna Margherita and return to Staffal. During the route I stayed overnight at Rifugio Guide del Cervino (2 nights) and finally at Rifugio Margherita and 3 nights in tent. The traverse involves ascents and descents of various peaks over 4000m, from Breithorn to Punta Gnifetti where Capanna Regina Margherita stands in weather conditions not always in my favor.
