Description:
Today we try some itineraries of the abundant Montemale trail network, part of the “Muntuben a Muntumal” hiking project, well suited for nice walks and mountain bike loops.
The Montemale area develops astride the mountain ridge between valle Grana and valle Maira. The main town, in a beautiful panoramic position, is dominated by an imposing castle. The toponym derives from 'mons malus' meaning steep mountain.
