Beautiful ring hike in the Alben basin on a splendid day, winter outing that couldn't be more summery, not a trace of ice or snow on the trail.
Leaving the cars at Passo di Zambla, we followed the dirt road for just under 3 km and at Pian della Palla, we ventured left into the magnificent beech forest, bare in this season with a carpet of rustling dry leaves.
