Tranquil and pleasant hike, ascending trail 403 from the Carbonera hamlet of Colere, we reached Rifugio Albani at 1940 m, near the ancient fluorite mines, from there along 401 we climbed to the summit of Ferrante, finding the path clear of snow despite sub-zero temperatures. The clear air even with overcast skies granted us deep panoramas, particularly beautiful the snow-covered north face of Guglielmo emerging from the fog and the nearby north face of Presolana.
