Borderland Slovenian Roman Benet and his life partner Nives Meroi are true mountaineers at heart. Together they have summited all eight-thousanders and along the way resolved one of the greatest life challenges together. We spent time with them in 2008, when they had already climbed ten eight-thousanders.
