Description:
In moderate weather and later onset of rain, we first took the Hochplattenbahn cable car from Marquartstein-Niedernfels to the mountain station at Staffn-Alm at about 1050m. Then the path led on wide forest and alpine paths to Hochplattenalm, further to Haberspitz, where the ridge of Hochplatte is reached, and on a steep path (and partly rock) up to the summit.
