Hike to Herzogstand (1.731 m) at Walchensee in the Bavarian Alps: The first hiking tour of the season from Kochel to Munich's famous local mountain.

For the first time this year, I'm in the mountains without ski gear. Behind me, Walchensee sparkles in the sun. Birds are chirping and everything looks so spring-like. Time to start the hiking season.
