The tour starts at Ofnerboden parking lot or by taking the Kehlsteinlinie from Obersalzberg in 20 minutes to Kehlsteinhaus at 1837m. From Kehlsteinhaus a few minutes to Kehlstein summit and on the loop trail in ca. 20-30 minutes to the start of Mannlgrat... It is well marked and partially secured with steel cables. At the end a short chimney, the so-called Rauchfang (2245 m), at the junction to Schustersteig we had to descend the trail due to snow conditions, Hoher Göll was out.
