From October 20-23, 2020, we visited Santorini, which was very quiet due to the Corona pandemic. Unfortunately, the weather was not optimal, but we still had a great time!
On the 1st day, we did a hike from Firostefani via Fira to Oia, which is very famous and considered the most beautiful hike on the island. About 10 km long, it goes across the island and offers great views of the volcanic caldera, the cliffs, and the opposite smaller islands. Upon arriving in Oia, we sat down for lunch when the thunderstorm came and even allowed us to watch a tornado (Min 2.51)! We returned by bus after spending a long time exploring Oia, as it gets dark quite early at that time of year.
