Description:
The Alpine Path or Alpine Steig is one of the highest hiking trails in the Black Forest. Between Hüttenwasen and Stübenwasen, the path runs mostly horizontally through the rocky north faces of Feldberg. The good three-and-a-half kilometer long path was abandoned by the forestry administration to promote nature development there.
