Description: This hike takes me from the old church St. Georg auf dem Berge/Ratzeburg (first church from around the 2nd half of the 10th century) to the Ansveruskreuz/Einhaus. The Abbot Ansverus was captured along with his fellow brothers in 1066 by rebellious Slavs and stoned at Einhaus. In the mid-15th century, the wheel cross was erected; since 1950 it has been a Catholic pilgrimage site. But the monk is also venerated in the local Protestant church.
