The Oskar Schuster Via Ferrata is located in one of the most beautiful Dolomite landscapes of Trentino-Alto Adige.
The via ferrata, opened by Oskar Schuster and Wilhelm Lohmüller in 1896, is a classic hike for Dolomites lovers. The overall itinerary is rated difficult. Not for the via ferrata itself, but for the entire route: distance and elevation gain. Moreover, pay maximum attention on unequipped sections of the via ferrata. From the Vetta di Mezzo of Sassopiatto, enjoy a beautiful panorama.
