Ostrachtaler Via Ferrata
A grandiose view and a great climbing experience is offered by the new Ostrachtaler via ferrata, opened since July 2018. The 300-meter-long route is quite short compared to other via ferratas in the region, but it packs a punch – steep sections challenge climbing enthusiasts, rewarded with a magnificent view over the beautiful Ostrachtal. Caution is advised, as the Ostrachtaler via ferrata is only suitable for experienced climbers with the appropriate fitness, no fear of heights, sure-footedness and equipment – children under 8 years should not be taken up.
