Description:
Bivacco Luca Vuerich is a tiny alpine shelter built on the very top of Fornon del Buinz - a mountain ridge in the Italian Julian Alps next to Jof di Montasio, the 2nd highest peak in the Julian Alps. Due to bivouacs relatively easy approach and the stunning views that it offers, this spot is very popular among mountain enthusiasts. It was built in 2012 and named in honor of italian climber Luca Vuerich. The bivouac has beds for 8 people and is equipped with mattresses and beddings, with an area of around 16 square meters. Join me as I spend the night there!
