The Paternkofel via ferrata is relatively easy. The via ferrata is in my opinion more a hike on a roped secured path. For experienced even a small sling would suffice. The last ascent to Paternkofel is a bit more demanding in climbing on the steel cable. But in my opinion easy for experienced.
