Description:
The Greek gods were good to the Peloponnese: In spring, wild herbs bloom in the green valleys, snow still lies on the peaks of the Taygetos mountains, and the sea is already bathing temperature. On the peninsula with the five fingers in the south of Greece, the visitor crowds are limited – except in Olympia and some other ancient sites. In the mountain villages, time seems to have stood still, and in the port towns there is space in the cafés. Andrea Grießmann discovers ancient traditions and magical places – there are many in the Peloponnese.
