Description:
Huánuco, better known as the "City with the Best Climate in the World", the "City of Eternal Spring" and the "City of the Knights of León", has generous, hardworking, warm, welcoming people and more. Founded on August 15, 1539 under the name "The Most Noble and Loyal City of the Knights of León de Huánuco", by the Spanish commander Gómez de Alvarado y Contreras, in the pampas of Huánuco Viejo.
