Description:
Today for the first time we went snowshoeing in Val Pesarina, a beautiful and sunny valley in the heart of Carnia, bordering Cadore and the Sappada valley to the west. The very simple walk starts at the cross-country ski facility and continues along the closed SS 465 road. From there we turned right and following a path tracked by other snowshoers returned to the starting point. Pleasant walk, sunny most of the time in an open valley with a suggestive panorama.
