Description:
Last May, after 8 years of absence, the Petzl RocTrip made a comeback in the town of Manikia, Greece. As has always been tradition, the goal was to bring the climbing community together around a single event. But in 2022, a new idea was proposed that transformed the Petzl RocTrip. Creative Onsight brought together groups of athletes, photographers and videographers to create completely original images and videos. Additionally, in-person participants (whose registration was limited to minimize the environmental impact of the event) were able to attend professional and athlete-led technical clinics. Last but not least, this event was part of a collaboration with Manikia Project, a local organization whose goal is to boost sustainable economic development centered around climbing in the area.
