Hi everyone,
really have to elbow for a good weather window this year... Despite that motivation is strongest. For this new hike we take you to the Lesponne valley in haute Bigorre. On the menu we'll climb the famous Pic du Montaigu. Recognizable from kilometers away by its pointed shape and withdrawn position from the rest of the chain. However expect a steep path from the start and... to the summit. Nothing technical, but the view at arrival is magical. Small detail, the summit actually consists of two summits!! Same height, but slightly different panorama, so good to do both. To reach the 2nd summit, a slight airy ridge of about 100 meters requires surefootedness.
