Hi everyone,
for this new hike I take you to the heart of Parc National d'Aigüestortes in Val d'Aran. We'll climb Pic Montardo, 2833m. This characterful summit is impressive from the village of Artiès. Its approach is beautiful, sometimes steep but never difficult. Its ascent is a reference in the heart of Val d'Aran. Its very wide viewpoint on multiple lakes and surrounding peaks (notably Aneto) is its strong point. For more 'comfort', the hike can be split over 2 days, spending a night in the great Restanca refuge.
