Description:
Ascent from the Bious Omette parking. A steep path begins through the forest and once out of it we see the Valle d'Aule in front of us. The well-defined path gains height until after a while we see our objective at the bottom, slightly to the right. We pass by the cabaña d'Aule, quite ugly by the way, and the path zigzags to overcome a rocky wall. After passing through a tiny and beautiful ravine where the path narrows, to the left is the Lago d'Aule. From this point, over steep grassy slopes without a clear path, we gain height and after passing a tiny ibón we turn left to change side. The cairns lead us to a very steep scree that leaves us on the ridge between the two summits. When you peek over the crest edge the sensation is brutal, with a drop of many meters to the Gaziès valley.
