Description:
Pic Malcaras is a summit located in Ariège in the Vicdessos valley. I did this ascent from the Soulcem dam by going left straight after it using a piece of trail not always very visible to the col de la Oussade 2738m. For this hike I would return in a loop, passing by the ridge of pic de l'étang Fourcat then faux Fourcat and visit the sundial of Tristagne 2701m nestled on pointe de Peyreguils before returning via port de Caraussans. A beautiful loop with a nice ridge run with some passages not to be neglected.
