Small family winery in the Nitra wine-growing region in the village of Tesáre.
PIVNICA TESÁRE - VÍNO UHLÁR was established in 1997 at the eastern foot of the Považský Inovec mountains with 9 ha of vineyard. From history, we learn that viticulture expanded in the second half of the 16th century (1570), but it was already there before. In the wine cellar, one can familiarize with the harvest records from the vineyard from 1839 to the present. After the reconstruction of the 1935 cellar, a new one was built. White wines mature in stainless steel tanks, red in wooden barrels. 80% of production consists of white wines of varieties Veltlínske zelené, Müller-Thurgau, Rulandské šedé, Rulandské biele, Sauvignon. The rest is complemented by red wines of varieties Rulandské modré and Zweigeltrebe. The winery focuses on the production of bottled quality wines and quality wines with designation, a smaller part is bulk wines.
