Description:
This 3000 m is located at the end of the valley in its westernmost sector. From this summit, relatively simple to reach (but do not underestimate the high altitude environment and elevation gain), one enjoys a spectacular panorama on the Monviso Group. Today cloudy day in the valley but this created an enchanting ocean of white clouds that covered the plain and various surrounding peaks. How beautiful, it seemed like being much higher than 3000 m... List of visible mountains: Monviso already with a sprinkle of snow, Punta Roma. Peaks of the Upper Varaita Valley: Monte Aiguillette, Pic d'Asti, Pan di Zucchero. Nearby the bulk of Monte Granero. Then the area of Valle Pellice which I don't know. A beautiful day at altitude, I thought it would be colder but it was really nice even with almost total absence of wind.
