Description:
The mountain tour to Strudelkopf is not only very historically significant but also very scenic and varied. The trail built by Austrian soldiers in World War I passes numerous war positions and offers beautiful views of the famous Drei Zinnen at the beginning. The summit of Strudelkopf was once a strategically important point for securing the Höhleinstal valley and offers a wonderful view of Dürrenstein, Hohe Gaisl, the Drei Zinnen, and the Cristallomassiv.
