Description:
From Garmisch to Griesen, right after the first level crossing to a small parking lot: there it starts on a solitary hunter's path up to the hunter's hut and then the path continues to Hohen Ziegspitz. Before the long ridge crossing towards Ziegspitz, you can almost pathless turn left on track traces and go to Rauhenstein. Solitary and beautiful.
