History of the Refuge From 1976 to 1979, it was the pastoral cabin located at 1790m on the left bank of the Drac Blanc that served as a refuge. The current new refuge implanted slightly higher (1805m) on the right bank was built by the CAF de Gap under the presidency of Dr L. ARNOUX. Building permit issued on 12 January 1978. Start of works October 1978. Construction 1979.
