Ridge outing without snowshoes... that's tough!!
We planned a ridge loop above Portet-de-Luchon, without counting on the 20 cm of snow up there. With -4°C in the village, we thought crampons would be useful, wrong!! We didn't wear out our snowshoes but our quads and cardio worked wonders and kicked off the season well!!!
