Rifugio Vioz, the highest in the Eastern Alps, is located on a small rocky plateau at 3535 meters, at the foot of the ridge leading to the panoramic summit of Monte Vioz, within Stelvio National Park in the Ortles-Cevedale group in upper Val di Peio, eyes gaze at the sky so close and a wonderful landscape ranging from Brenta to Presanella to Adamello, from S. Matteo to Tresero, from Bernina to Rosa from Gran Zebrù to Ortles to Cevedale, ending with the Dolomites.
