Description: Hello friends. I have never split a hike into three videos: but here in Capo di Ponte I had to do it to illustrate the peculiarities of this place: which are the Naquane rock engravings, the S. Siro church, and the S. Salvatore church. Here in these images we have just left S. Siro and our guide Mrs. Maria leads us to the nearby 'Massi di Cemmo' Archaeological Park. Rocks that slid from the mountain about 10,000 years ago and decorated with animal figures and plowing scenes. This place was a Camunian sanctuary and it was the first rock art site reported in 1909 by geographer Gualtiero Laeng, whom all hikers know as the refuge on the Brescian side of the Orobic Pizzo Camino is named after him.
