Schauinsland is about 1285m high and is considered one of the most beautiful vantage point mountains in the Black Forest. In addition to the view into the Black Forest to the Hornisgrinde, you can also see the Rhine plain with the Kaiserstuhl mountains and the sister mountains in France, the Vosges.
