The nearly 3,000 m high Schesaplana is the highest peak of the Rätikon. The hike leads over the Brandner Glacier, a wire rope secured rock passage and a ridge. From the glacier, a detour to the Mannheimer Hütte, at 2,679 m one of Vorarlberg's highest huts, is worthwhile.
