The video shows a beautiful circular route in the western Thuringian Forest. Starting point is Tambach-Dietharz. From the entrance to Marderbachgrund (parking lot; road to Schmalwasser reservoir) through Marderbachgrund and over a beautiful ridge down to Schmalwasser reservoir. Here up to Schöne Aussicht and further via Nadelöhr to the end of the reservoir. Now the path through Röllchen, a small gorge. Then to the highest rock in Thuringia, Falkenstein (small lake; Bergwacht hut). The return is via Altenfels (magnificent viewpoint rock) towards Tambach-Dietharz reservoir. From there entertainingly across meadows and forests to the starting point on the road to Schmalwasser reservoir. Total length: approx. 22.5 km
