Schwansee Lake is a bit outside and easily hidden from the Neuschwanstein tourist center, in a beautiful nature park surrounded by forests.
Here a bike/hiking trail leads around the bathing lake. Magnificent views of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau are guaranteed here.
