Description:
Demanding ascent from San Urbéz, in the lower part of Cañón del Añisclo. In the first part, we follow GR-15 for a couple of hours to a junction signposted as Sestrales. From that point, the path becomes harder, requiring hands in some spots. To reach Collata de las Puertas, one must overcome a scree slope of about 250 meters of elevation gain. Scrambling above the collata, we access Faja de Sestrales Bajo. Carefully traversing it, we reach a final steep section that leaves us on the extensive upper grassy clearing. We pass first by the Sestrales Bajo summit and then by the Alto one.
