Description:
Ascent via the normal route to Dachstein in Styria near Ramsau. Entry via Shoulder Ascent, later traverse to the world's oldest via ferrata: Randkluftsteig. Descent also over it. Advantage of this variant: cross the crevassed Dachstein Glacier only once. Essential high alpine gear. Starting point is the top station of the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car. Up either additional 2.5h on foot or by cable car itself. Register in advance.
